The second edition, launched in December 2012, features a portrait of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the Palm Jumeirah Island, the world’s largest man-made island.
Both coins stand as national emblems which reflect the determination and achievements of the UAE federation.
